The Shed Research Institute is the multidisciplinary media, art, design and research studio of Jeff Cain. The SRI is committed to using experimental strategies for researching, expressing, and engaging trauma within the landscape.

The SRI initiates individual projects, commissions and supports the work of others, and accepts commissions and design projects.

Named and inspired by temporary structures that house adhoc initiatives and amateur exploration, the Shed Research Institute has many small outposts across California.
